Helm Crag to Stonethwaite - Keswick Mountain Festival Sat 22 May

Just a quick posting to tell you that there are only 3 places left on this very popular walk. So if you are thinking about booking it I would advise you to do so soon, as once it reaches 20 people we will not be taking anymore. The minibuses have been booked by Pete so we are ready to roll. He will advise on the day how much extra you will need but it will be approx £4 each for transport to Grasmere.

Hi Lyn, I've had a look at the Keswick Mountain Festival bookings. Wow, there are quite a lot of bookings this year! The Helm Crag to Stonethwaite walk is a wonderful one, I've done it before the other way round, but on the 22nd I'll do something relaxing, i.e. visiting Watendlath Farm. Don't know how to get there by 10.00 am, though. I'm afraid I have to walk? :-(

I will do four other walks with you during the Festival, not long now...cana
